Welcome Week is a week-long event and is required for the Class of 2028.

Welcome Week at the University of Minnesota in 2024 promises to be an exciting and vibrant start to the academic year. New and returning students will have the opportunity to dive into a whirlwind of activities designed to build community and spirit. From engaging campus tours and informative workshops to lively social events and interactive fairs, there's something for everyone.

The week will feature a blend of fun and educational experiences, including a spectacular welcome concert, themed parties, and sessions to help students acclimate to university life. It's a chance for students to connect with peers, discover resources, and begin their journey at one of the nation’s top public universities with enthusiasm and support.
